DESCRIPTION
Some MSX2 machines can genlock, laying computer graphics over external video. We ran a short flower clip underneath a title card drawn on the VDP.
It is the kind of thing local TV stations used to do with these machines, and it still looks charming.
What to watch for
- The overlay edge against the video.
- Colour shift when the overlay turns on.
- Sync stability during the fade.
