A supergun lets you play arcade boards at home without a cabinet. The core is simple: a JAMMA edge connector, power, controls and an RGB output.

Parts list

  • JAMMA breakout board with screw terminals.
  • Arcade power supply with 5V, 12V and -5V.
  • SCART lead with sync on composite video.

The board does not care how pretty your supergun is. It cares that the 5V rail reads 5.0.

The dangerous part is the power supply. We used a proper arcade PSU and fused every rail.
