NOTES

A member’s neighbour was clearing a loft and asked if we wanted “some old computer stuff”. It turned out to be two boxed Amiga 500s, a 1084S monitor and six crates of disks, most of them still labelled in careful handwriting.

Which flux did you end up using? The no-clean stuff left a haze on my last job.

I tried this last winter and skipped the discharge step. Do not skip the discharge step.

Good question. We measured it and it dropped by about half after the recap.

The tip about the grounding strap should be in bold at the top.
